Fall is officially upon us, and with Halloween just over a week away, if any of you are looking for last-minute costume ideas, Pinterest is always a great place to start! It's absolutely chockful of inexpensive and clever DIY designs, ranging from the spectacularly spooky, to creative spins on the classics! Once in the Halloween ‘spirit’, be sure to head over to the 15th Annual ‘Haunted Trails’ event, going on this week—plenty of fun & frightening mazes, right in Crown Valley Park! “Enter if you Dare!”
You can also bring the little ones to Moulton Elementary School this Saturday, 10/24 as they will be hosting their annual ‘Boo Blast’ Carnival and Food Drive, which will include a Bake Sale, music, rides, and a Costume Contest! (plus, anyone who brings 4+ cans of food gets a FREE ride ticket!)
The Pro and College Football seasons are now well underway, and with the World Series just around the corner, Signature Sports Bar and BallPark Pizza--both in Laguna Niguel Town Center—are perfect spots to watch all the action (including those hard-to-find, out-of-market games)! And if you plan on doing some weekend ‘Home-gating’ this season, this site is a great resource for all sorts of fan-favorite recipes, (including the ever-popular ‘beer cheese’ dip), and the Better Homes and Gardens site has plenty of Fall-inspired dessert ideas!
Speaking of dessert, we’re very happy to welcome ‘Signature Dessert’ to Moulton Niguel Plaza (28083 Moulton Parkway), which opened this past weekend to fantastic fanfare, including a ribbon-cutting ceremony with the Laguna Niguel Chamber of Commerce, day-long BOGO specials, and great giveaways! Proprietor Peter Tran and family offer a host of unique bakery and café items, refreshing smoothies and coffee drinks, ice cream and much more--be sure to stop by and give 'em a try!
We hope everyone has a fun and safe Halloween! (and don’t forget to set those clocks back November 1st!)
